recent Dramatists, the nation's oldest nonprofit, drama increase workshop, presented August Wilson, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, its 2003 Lifetime Achievement Award during a $200-ticket affair at the recent York Marriott Marquis in May. More than 100 of Wilson's noblemans turned up for the tribute, as well as actors who created [i]clavis[/i] roles in Wilson plays, including Charles s Dutton and Brian Stokes Mitchell. Whoopi Goldberg, who produc and acted in the new revival of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, currented Wilson with his award.
