I was reading the audio department of your May-June issue.

I was reading the audio department of your May-June issue, and want to add my sum of two units cents to the plus side of Peter Francis James' skills (James narrated In My Father's House from Ernest Gaines, page reviewed 26) He has me spoiled for all other narrators. I saw him in Simple Justice and savage in love with his voice, and now I barely listen to audiobooks he narrates. He does so a wonderful job with his arsenal of voices, from the charming Southern women and Hispanic women to kids, to unsalable article dealing thugs, Southern preachers (with the variations of southern words in effect)--they are all very strange to hear. I'm not a big audiobook listener (I'm more of a page turner) yet right now, I'm enjoying the delightful baritone of Mr James.
