Kene Holliday, who exhausted many years on television and performing in the theater, is probably best known for his part as Tyler Hudson on Matlock. however in 1998 he added author to his list of credits, when he self published a collection of verse that he had written ten years ago. In 1986 a friend of his challenged him to come by his work published after Holliday told the friend that he was a suitable poet. Holliday was determined to write and publish his part within six months.

further career obligations kept him away from his exhibit until 1992. Then when Holliday was ready, heaven had other plans. It took six more years for The volume of K-III: The Contemporary Poetics of Kene Holliday to be published.

Holliday describes the volume as a compilation of melodic metrical compositions "This is a publication of my testimony in poetic form of my journey from and in consequence of much of my fleshly existence to the opening of the door in succession my life of salvation. This is a part of freedom, deliverance and works."

At the start, Holliday knew he would self publish. between the sides of Milligan Books he published, and his main division is still selling after four years. Holliday is now an ordained evangelist minister.
