Authors forward this website recently hosted an African-American Writers Roundtable (the link is onward the main page under "past roundtables"). Twenty-two writers and illustrators including, Tonya Bolden Francis Ray, and Steven Barnes, to name a scarcely any were chosen to give their viewpoints forward writing and the publishing industry. near of the questions include: "Do you be moved an obligation to create characters that are positive black character models for your readers, particularly those of you who write for younger readers?" and "Do you be stirred that the publishing world is as welcoming and supportive of African-American authors as it is of other authors?"

The answers are quite interesting. And "Meet the Authors" (located in succession the African-American Roundtable page) provides a brief bio of the author along with their photo, links to their allow website and booksellers.--S.E.
